Archers of the West was formed in June 2000 by a group of enthusiastic and dedicated archers who felt the need for a progressive and forward looking club in the Hayle area.
Our aim is to encourage more people, young and old, into our sport and to help them to achieve whatever level they desire. We have a solid core of coaching knowledge to help archers progress.
We are an open and democratic club where all members are welcome, and encouraged, to attend and participate in all committee meetings. Day to day affairs are handled by the Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer who are required to report regularly to the members.
If you are a member of another Archery GB (GNAS) club then you are welcome to shoot with us as a guest.
We are indebted to our hosts, the Hayle Football Club, for their unending help and assistance. They provide our outdoor facility overlooking St. Ives and Carbis Bay.
