Our next introductory course will start on Sunday 24th May at Holman Sports Club in Camborne. Everybody is welcome who would like to give target archery a try. The course is 4 sessions of two hours per session, from 10:30 to 12:30 each Sunday morning. We provide all the equipment you need, which will be based on a recurve bow as these are easiest to get started with.
We start with introductions to us, then get you kitted out, then go through the safety rules. Every session also starts with a gentle warm-up routine before you start shooting. Target archery is about trying to get all your arrows as close as possible to the centre, and the technique we teach is based on ArcheryGB standards developed over many years. You will be taught by qualified coaches and other experienced archers.
You can then join the club if you would like to carry on shooting.
The course fee is £40 for an adult and £20 for a junior (under 18). That fee covers all four sessions. Book via the links below and we will send you details on how to pay.
